About Our School

THE BEGININNG

High Stepper's American Karate Studios, Inc. was started in July 2002 when Shihan Mark and his friend Sensei Sean Fitzgerald decided to take their Martial Arts knowledge to the next level.  Shihan Mark talked to his instructor and good friend Bill “SUPERFOOT” Wallace and decided to become part of the SUPERFOOT system. What this meant for High Stepper's is that as part of the SUPERFOOT system we would get:

1. Legendary Bill Wallace as one of our Chief instructors

2. Rank Certification for our students in the Superfoot System

3. Be part of an elite group of martial artists

4. Exclusive rights to the Superfoot Curriculum and Logo

With Bill Wallace as part of the team Shihan Mark and Sensei Sean knew that starting a Martial Arts school was what they needed to do. They wanted to create a school that would remember the basic teachings of Martial arts Honor, Discipline, and Respect.  Their goal was to be the founders of a school where legacies could begin. Through their love of Martial Arts High Stepper's American Karate Studios was born.
